Be Amazed.
By the Davis Academy.
At The Davis Academy, we don’t teach to the test, we teach to the whole child. We are focused on creating confident and compassionate leaders who, when they graduate, are academically prepared as they enter the next phase in their development. From the moment our students walk through the doors, they transition into their own unique Davis Experience. An experience that is tailored to the individual child. How they develop, grow and learn—not just about the academics, but about themselves. From Kindergarten Prep through Eighth Grade, The Davis Academy is recognized as the largest Reform Jewish Day School in the country, providing a challenging and enriching education based on an innovative, student-centric curriculum.

At every stage of development, teachers nurture critical thinking, while providing opportunity and encouragement for students to share their learning in new and creative ways, creating opportunity for self-discovery.
When science, technology, language arts, literacy and math live side-by-side with art, music, theater and athletics, kids make amazing connections. And when it is all reinforced by the values taught at The Davis Academy – community, respect, spirit, wisdom and righteousness – it enables students to find added personal meaning in those connections. Patterns for thinking, problem solving and communicating are uncovered, giving students the tools for working and living that will last them a lifetime.
Middle School Interscholastic Athletics
Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in Interscholastic sports. We are a MAAC Division 1 school and our teams regularly qualify for and win championship games.
The competitive athletics program includes ten different sports played by 20+ different teams. At The Davis Academy, teams are offered at varying skill levels for both boys and girls so that every child who wants to play a team sport has the opportunity to do so. The purpose of The Davis Academy Athletic Program is for students to learn and apply the necessary skills, to develop dedication, teamwork, sportsmanship, and to have fun. We want to develop each athlete’s mind, body, and spirit.
Many of our athletes have had the opportunity to participate in city and state-wide competitions, taking home a number of notable wins, and are now participating on high school, college and professional sports teams in the United States and around the world.
