4/15/20: June SAT Cancelled

Parents and Students,

College Board just announced that the June 6 SAT exam is now cancelled

The committee is investigating replacement test dates in July, August, and September. I would guess we would see a lot more colleges go test-optional in this COVID-19 normal (especially this year). My bet is that everything on the college admissions schedule is going to get pushed back this year, including application deadlines. If students don't have grades and they don't have test scores, then what do they have? I love essays, but I know that colleges want more than essays to determine their student body. We're going to see more of a personal shift to the application process.

More news will be released on Friday. I'll plan to update you all then. As always, if you have any specific questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm continuing to do my best to keep you in the loop as I learn more about this ever-changing landscape.
