The pandemic has changed the way students are learning—forever.

Online learning platforms are offering many online learning profiles. We’ve seen a surge worldwide of full-time students resuming their coursework—the largest “online movement” in the history of education.

What’s the Longterm Impact?

Negative feedback surrounding online learning are rooted in the criticism of limited training, stretched bandwidth, and poor preparation. As a result, naysayers believe that this poor user experience is note conducive to sustained growth. Yet, proponents of the pivot believe that this hybrid model of education offer significant benefits including efficient and effective interface and document sharing. Research showed that on average, students retain 25-60% more material when learning online rather than 8-10% in a classroom setting. This is attributed to a quicker pace of learning—in fact, virtual learning requires 40-60% less time to learn than a traditional classroom, underscoring autonomy for students to learn at their own pace.
