How to Apply to Schools Using Ravenna
Ravenna is the shared application portal for a number of AAAIS-member schools in the Atlanta area. This platform makes it easy to keep all of your docs in one place—but it can be a little overwhelming, too! We’ve compiled a check-list on how to apply to schools using Ravenna. So grab a cup of coffee and settle in.
How to Apply to Schools Using Ravenna
Log onto your Ravenna Account
Click on your Student’s Profile
On the top right, click the green button “Explore/Apply to a School.” (This will take you to the School Directory).
Select “Regional Schools” on the top left of the page.
Ensure that “Atlanta Area” is selected in the drop-down menu.
Begin searching for schools on your list that you are interested in learning more about. Remember that by “exploring” a school, Admissions does not see that you are researching their school. By “applying” to a school, Admissions will see that you are researching/interested in their school.
Click on the name of a school that you are interested in exploring. Choose the “Apply” button.
Select your student from the dropdown menu.
Ensure that exploration is for entry into school for Fall of 2024 and for your student’s default apply grade. Choose how you first learned about the school. Click “Apply” and then “Continue with the Application Process.” Note: You will not be able to do this prior to October 1, 2023 (when school applications officially open. Trying to do this ahead of time will prompt an error message that will say that that school is not accepting new applicants for the 2024-2025 school year.
You will now be able to register for virtual and on-campus events and preview admissions requirements for your chosen school. Continue with all the schools on your list.
